We are looking for a highly skilled Web Developer, with extensive knowledge in front-end and back-end development who is interested in developing his career with us to join Zend’s web development team.

We are looking for somebody who would like to take part in the development process of bleeding edge technologies such as cloud and mobile and is up for the challenge to join an Agile engineering team.
Description of Duties:
- Planning, developing and maintaining mission critical web applications
- Working with The Product team, Sales & Marketing on daily web related tasks
- Monitor and maintain the production environment
- Manage projects, setup schedules and maintain quality
- Take end-to-end leading role with projects you own
- Accept & keep challenging deadlines
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic training – Optional
- Expert level PHP Developer (Object Oriented Programming) familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.2.X, 5.3.X. and 5.4
- PHP development using Zend Framework
- At least 3 years developing complex web applications
- Experience in creating and working with web services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST, etc.)
- Strong knowledge and experience with AJAX, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Good knowledge of Apache and MySQL
- Excellent communication and organization skills, fluent English is a must.
Optional
- JS frameworks such as jQuery, MooTools, Prototype, etc.
- Running web application in the Cloud (AWS, RightScale, etc.)
- Source control (SVN/git) work experience
- Working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Using other Zend tools such as Zend Server and Zend Studio – an advantage
- Zend Framework 2.0 – an advantage
- Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE) – an advantage
