Intern Sales, DACH, part time position

Zend is growing rapidly, and recruiting Intern Sales Representatives responsible for generating business within his/her respective region by developing new prospects, identifying their needs, selling Zend Technologies products and services and developing strong customer satisfaction. Job Description:

• Call QBM leads that are in the DACH  queue
• Minimum conversation volume for outbound 40-60 daily
• Qualify/Call lead from Lead Score (list from marketing)
• Follow up on all smaller renewals (<$3,000), low value transactions to support Dublin ISRs
• Maintain a weekly outbound ‘phone and email campaigns in SFDC
• Provide prompt follow up to all inbound leads and properly document and track results (we receive over 100,000 downloads of our software each month) in SFDC
• Build and maintain knowledge base with Zend Technologies products and services
• Maintain a weekly outbound phone & email campaign targeting top prospects
• Work with ISRs and AMs for any additional sales support needed
• Update SalesForce.com with all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account

Skills and Experience:

• The ability to perform your own product demos
• The ability to close $1K - $3K deals over the ‘phone
• Experience selling to various lines of business, especial target will be Heads of Development, Application Developers, through to IT Directors, CTOs, VP Application Development & Engineering
• Experience selling application servers and developers tools a plus (JBoss, mySQL, Oracle, Weblogic, Websphere, Rational, …)
• Familiarity with salesforce.com (or other CRM) automation applications
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, persistence, assertiveness, resourcefulness required
• Ability to listen well, communicate and qualify effectively, over the telephone to all levels

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferable, but not essential
• Some sales experience
• Fluent English & German language skills essential, Dutch and other European languages an advantage
