Zend Server for IBM i 5.6.0 Hotfix 3
We are pleased to announce the release of Zend Server for IBM i 5.6.0 Hotfix 3 (for those using PHP 5.3). This hotfix updates the PHP version to 5.3.14, and the Zend Framework version to 1.11.12.

New toolkit update
We will be delivering a new toolkit distribution on the Zend Server website. With a single PTF you will be able to update the PHP toolkit classes and the IBM XML Service functions. This distribution will simplify the upkeep on the opensource toolkit project. Stay tuned for more information.
Countdown to ZendCon! October 22-25, 2012
Register before September 8 to take advantage of early registration discounts! ZendCon, the premier PHP conference, will include a special track of IBM i sessions. One of the featured speakers is noted IBM i community member Alan Seiden who is the current project manager of the new open source toolkit. Alan will be delivering presentations on the new toolkit and how to implement best practices with DB2 on IBM i.
