What was previously a rather hyped subject is now a simple reality: The sale of goods and services over the internet has become an integral part of the world economy – and it continues to grow. A study by the German industrial association “Bitkom” reveals that in the year 2007 16 percent of European companies used the Internet as a sales channel.
