Zend and IBM have teamed to accelerate PHP momentum by collaborating on the industry's first integrated solution designed to help developers build and deploy applications and services based on PHP. This Collaboration has resulted in a PHP production environment, completely supported by Zend, that is ideal for accessing/connecting to DB2 Express-C features and provides integration with IBM's DB2 and Informix databases. IBM and Zend are also jointly working on furthering PHP technology to include improved high-level database integration frameworks and enhanced PHP Web services standards.

Zend and IBM have partnered to deliver Zend Solutions for IBM i, a complete PHP development and production environment solution for the IBM i platform.
