The presentation will include a live demo on how to install and configure Zend Server on
IBM i (Beta). The topics will include the following features and much more:
· Installation of Zend Server
· Configuration of Zend Studio to work with your environment
· Verification of your Server installation with Hello World and tour of IFS
· Verification of access to database by listing items in a library
· Key features in Zend Server Community Edition and full version
Zend Server will come in two flavors: a full version and a community edition
(Zend Server CE). CE is a no-charge LP and is comparable to Zend Core. The full version is
like getting Core and Platform all in one LP. Zend Server is the next generation.
